if you don't know how to use it, watch the video

How do I find good "authoritative" articles?
Search the Alameda County Library Databases
(remember, a paid, online database article counts as a PRINT resource!)
How do I search for articles? Start at the ACLibrary Information page - if you want a ten page WORD document that explains step by step how to search a document, go to the InfoTrac Training (note: this is a BIG file - 6.6 megabytes! you can look at the print out in the Irvington Library or wait while it opens).
Are there places to find quality, authoritative sources on the Web? Yes!!! Go directly to www.lii.org (Librarians Index to the Internet) or to the Internet Public Library (www.ipl.org)
